  • CHRYSAOR – October 28 at Royal Randwick will long be remembered for Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency with the victory of 3yo Better Than Ready colt CHRYSAOR in the $1m Group 2 Callender-Presnell (1400m), one race after the win of ESPIONA in the $2m The Invitation. Group 2 placed at 2, it has taken a few runs for the colt to get back to form, but all went to plan in the lucrative race, with his earnings now passing $860,000 with three wins from ten starts. Purchased by Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $115,000 from the draft of Bell River Thoroughbreds at the 2022 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

 

  • ESPIONA – Off the back of a solid seventh in the $20m Everest, earning connections another $700,000, ESPIONA was ‘invited’ to take her position in the $2m The Invitation (1400m), held at Royal Randwick on October 28. Starting the second elect in the quality field of mares, Espiona took the prize in a photo-finish to take her prizemoney soaring past $2.8m. Purchased by Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $190,000 from the draft of Torryburn Stud at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

 

  • ESPIONA – on September 23, the Star Thoroughbreds raced ESPIONA improved from a fast-closing second in the Group 2 Sheraco Stakes behind Sunshine In Paris to win the Group 2 Golden Pendant (1400m) by two and a quarter lengths with Nash Rawiller in the saddle second up from a spell. As a result of the win, Espiona will race in the Chris Waller Racing slot in the $20m Everest (1200m). Purchased by Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $190,000 from the draft of Torryburn Stud at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

 

  • KALINO – Having his first start at Flemington, the Chris Waller-trained and Star Thoroughbreds raced Pierro gelding KALINO secure his first black type victory, winning the $175,000 Listed VRC Sofitel Stakes over 1400m on September 16. The victory took Kalino’s record to seven wins and three placed efforts from 22 starts with over $650,000 in earnings for connections. Kalino was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $210,000 from the draft of Tyreel Stud at the 2020 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

 

  • 2023 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Inglis Chairman’s Sale Consignment – with six of our seven strong draft finding new homes at an average price of $895,833 with an aggregate of $5.375m, Colm Santry Bloodstock and Coolmore Australia went to a sale record price of $3.6m to purchase the above pictured Group 1 winner NIMALEE (So You Think), in the process giving Glenesk Thoroughbreds the sale topper for the 2022 and 2023 sale. What made this fairytale story even more exciting for all involved was that Nimalee was secured as a yearling by Randwick Bloodstock Agency, before being given the honour to offer her at the 2023 Inglis Chairman’s Sale.

 

  • OLENTIA – on April 15th, the Chris Waller trained 3yo Zoustar filly OLENTIA broke through at black type level, winning the Group 3 ATC James HB Carr Stakes (1400m), to give owner Star Thoroughbreds back to back victories in the race after the four and a quarter length win the year prior by ESPIONA. Olentia was a $310,000 Magic Millions purchase for Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency from the Tyreel Stud draft.

 

  • ESPIONA – on the 11th March 2023, ESPIONA was finally able to secure that elusive Group 1 victory is the ATC Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill, a marquee race Group 1 for Fillies and Mares. Securing her fifth win at only her twelfth start, ESPIONA took her earnings to just over $800,000, and added to her previous black-type wins in the Group 3 MRC Mannerism Stakes (1400m), Group 3 ATC James HB Carr Stakes (1400m, by 4 1/4 lengths) and the Listed VRC Desirable Stakes (1400m, by 6 1/2 lengths). Purchased by Star Thoroughbreds and Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $190,000 from the draft of Torryburn Stud at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

 

  • KIKU – on the 10th September 2022 won the Group 2 ATC Theo Marks Handicap (1300m) at Rosehill, taking her earnings to $949,855. This was KIKU’S second black type win, having previously won the Group 3 ATC Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at Randwick as a 3-year-old. Since being purchased, her full brother ZOUTORI has compiled a top class race record including wins in the 2021 VRC Newmarket Hcp (Group 1), VRC Gilgai Stakes (Group 2) and the VRC Bobbie Lewis Hcp (Group 2-twice). His earnings currently stand at just under $2 million. KIKU was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds/Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $300,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast January Yearling Sale.

 

  • 2022 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Magic Millions National Broodmares Sale Consignment – we offered a draft of ten mares. For the second year running at the National Broodmare Sale we sold two seven figure horses. Our top price was $1.35 million, paid by Yu Long Investments for the English stakes winning mare EASTON ANGEL (by DARK ANGEL (in foal to FRANKEL). An excellent sale result was also achieved for Group 2 winner SWIFT WITNESS (by STAR WITNESS), selling for $1 million to Dermot Farrington (as agent for Gilgai Farm). We ended the sale as the third leading vendor on average (3 or more sold), with an average price of $435,000.

 

  • 2022 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Inglis Chairman’s Sale Consignment – we offered a small but select draft of four mares with dual Group 1 winner SHOUT THE BAR selling to Coolmore’s Tom Magnier for a sale record $2.7m (pictured), while KEYSBROOK, the dam of this season’s Group 1 Champagne Stakes winner SHE’S EXTREME sold to Kia Ora Stud for $825,000. We ended the sale as the leading consignor on averages, with our four mares recording an average price of $988,750.

 

  • NIMALEE – winner on the final day of The Championships in the Group 1 ATC Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m). The Matthew Smith trained daughter of SO YOU THINK was purchased for Lester and Margaret Durney at the 2018 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale for $270,000 and has since earned over $1.26m for connections.

 

  • KEYSBROOK – dam of Group 1 winner SHE’S EXTREME (by EXTREME CHOICE). Randwick Bloodstock Agency purchased Keysbrook from the 2021 June Inglis Digital Sale for $60,000 before SHE’S EXTREME had raced. SHE’S EXTREME has since won the Group 3 ATC Magic Night Stakes, finished second in the Group 1 ATC Inglis Sires’ Produce Stakes before winning the Group 1 ATC Champagne Stakes (1600m), where she defeated dual the Golden Slipper winner FIREBURN.

 

  • Randwick Bloodstock was involved with the selections for Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds at the 2022 Australian Yearling Sales, hoping to find another INVINCIBELLA, FOXPLAY, NOIRE, KIKU or ESPIONA. During the sales series Star/RBA purchased yearlings by proven stallions such as ALL TOO HARD, BETTER THAN READY, DUNDEEL, EXCEED AND EXCEL, I AM INVINCIBLE, SHAMUS AWARD, SHOOTING TO WIN and ZOUSTAR, up and coming stallions ALPINE EAGLE, ASTERN, HELLBENT (2), OVERSHARE, RUSSIAN REVOLUTION, SHALAA, as well as first season stallions CHURCHILL, GRUNT, JUSTIFY, KEMENTARI, STRATOSPHERE, TRAPEZE ARTIST (2), THE AUTUMN SUN and WRITTEN BY.

2021

  • 2021 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale Consignment – in late May we offered 15 mares in our draft. We finished the sale grossing just under $4.5 million, and as the third leading consignor (on average). Our top prices were $1.9 million for the Group 1 winner BELLA VELLA (by COMMANDS), and $1.35 million for the Group 2 winner FIESTA (by I AM INVINCIBLE), both mares being purchased by leading Victorian operation Rosemont Stud.

 

  • Randwick Bloodstock and Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds purchases for the 2021 Australian Yearling Sales. During the sales series Star/RBA purchased a total of 26 yearlings by proven stallions such as BRAZEN BEAU, I AM INVINCIBLE (2), PIERRO, RUBICK, SEBRING, SIYOUNI, STREET BOSS, WRITTEN TYCOON and ZOUSTAR (2), up and coming stallions ALPINE EAGLE (2), AMERICAN PHAROAH, ASTERN (2), CABLE BAY, DIVINE PROPHET, as well as first season stallions CHURCHILL, HELLBENT (3), HIGHLAND REEL, MERCHANT NAVY (2) and PARIAH.

 

  • KIKU – on the 10rd April 2021, KIKU won the Group 3 ATC Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at Randwick. This promising 3-year-old ZOUSTAR filly was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds/Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $300,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast January Yearling Sale. Since being purchased, her full brother ZOUTORI has compiled a top class race record including wins in the 2021 VRC Newmarket Hcp (Group 1), VRC Gilgai Stakes (Group 2) and the VRC Bobbie Lewis Hcp (Group 2-twice). His earnings currently stand at more than $1.8 million.

 

  • NIMALEE – on the 3rd April 2021, NIMALEE won the Group 2 ATC Emancipation Stakes (1600m) at Rosehill. This 4-year-old SO YOU THINK mare was purchased for Lester & Margaret Durney at the 2018 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale for $270,000.

2020

  • LIBOR LADY (USA) – dam of 2020 Group 2 MRC Sandown Guineas winner ALLIBOR (by ALL TOO HARD). Randwick Bloodstock purchased LIBOR LADY (by EXCHANGE RATE) off the track for US$115,000 for client Stephen Van Eyk at the 2010 Fasig-Tipton November Sale. ALLIBOR is the mare’s fourth winner from four foals to race.

 

  • GUAPA (USA) – dam of 2020/2021 season dual Group 3 winner CHICA FUERTE (by HINCHINBROOK). Won the MRC Ethereal Stakes (2000m) in the Spring and returned in the Autumn to win the MVRC Alexandra Stakes (1600m). At the 2021 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, CHICA FUERTE was sold for $900,000. Randwick Bloodstock and client Vincent Ip purchased GUAPA (by ROCK HARD TEN) as a 3yo broodmare prospect for US$7,000 at the 2014 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. To date GUAPA’S first four foals have realised over $700,000 through the yearling sales.

 

  • BELLA VELLA – leads all the way to claim a Group 1 victory in the SAJC TAB Classic (1200m) on the 2nd May 2020. Randwick Bloodstock was involved in her purchase for $22,500 via the Inglis Digital Auction in April 2019. At that time BELLA VELLA (by COMMANDS) was already a winner of 3 NSW and Victorian provincial races and $90,000. Since transferring to Will Clarken in Adelaide, BELLA VELLA has won a further 7 races over $800,000 prize money including wins in the Group 2 MVRC McEwen Stakes (1000m) and the Listed SAJC Hills Railway Stakes (1000m).

 

  • 2020 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale Consignment – in late July we offered 3 broodmare prospects in our draft. We finished the sale with a 100% clearance rate (the overall sale’s clearance rate was 76%) and as the sale’s leading consignor (on average). Our top price of $1.3 million was paid for the Group 1 winner INVINCIBELLA (by I AM INVINCIBLE), purchased by leading stud Coolmore Australia.

 

  • 2020 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Inglis Chairman’s Sale Consignment – On the 8th May, due to the current restrictions in place from COVID-19, William Inglis & Son conducted their second ever Virtual Auction. Glenesk Thoroughbreds were well represented with nearly 15% of the catalogue (11 lots) resident on our farm. We finished the sale with a 100% clearance rate (the overall sale’s clearance rate was 67%) and as the sale’s leading consignor (on aggregate) with $3.2 million in sales.  Our top price of $800,000 was paid for the Group 2 winner/Group 1 placed NOIRE (by FOXWEDGE), purchased by leading Japanese breeder Katsumi Yoshida.

 

  • Once again Randwick Bloodstock teamed up with Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds for the 2020 Australian Yearling Sales. During the sales series Star/RBA purchased a total of 25 yearlings by proven stallions such as FASTNET ROCK, HINCHINBROOK (3), I AM INVINCIBLE, PIERRO, SEBRING and WRITTEN TYCOON, as well as first season stallions ALPINE EAGLE (2), AMERICAN PHAROAH, ASTERN (2), DIVINE PROPHET, EXTREME CHOICE, MAURICE, SHALAA, STAR TURN, TERRITORIES and WINNING RUPERT.

 

  • DEROCHE – Winner of the 2020 TTC Vamos Stakes (Group 3) at Launceston on 26 February. Also a winner of the 2019 TTC Magic Millions 2yo Classic and the 2020 TTC Magic Millions 3yo Classic, as well as an unlucky second in the 2020 TTC Bow Mistress Stakes (Group 3). Her record currently stands at 9 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third from 13 starts, $363,639 in prize money. DEROCHE (by NEEDS FURTHER) was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds / Randwick Bloodstock for $61,000 at the 2018 Tasmanian Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

 

  • BARINKA – on 12th February her 2yo PRIME STAR (by STARSPANGLEDBANNER) saluted in the $2 million ATC Inglis Milennium (1100m) (Restricted Listed). BARINKA was purchased for clients Chris & Lynne Lawlor for $130,000 (in foal to DISSIDENT) at the 2016 Inglis Sydney Weanling & Broodmare Sale. The resulting foal was sold for $100,000 at the 2018 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, with PRIME STAR being her next foal, selling for $55,000 at the 2019 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. Fortunately for Chris & Lynne they retained a share in PRIME STAR, whose earnings now stand at over $1.5 million.

 

  • INVINCIBELLA – on the 11 January won her third consecutive $1 million Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Plate (1300m), the become the only horse in the history of the Magic Millions to win a MM race for three consecutive years. The victory took her earnings past $3 million to become her sire I AM INVINCIBLE’S leading money earner. Also captured Group 1 glory in the 2019 Qld Tatt’s RC Tattersall’s Tiara (1400m) at Eagle Farm. Randwick Bloodstock Agency helped plan her mating for breeders Andrew & Nielma Grant-Taylor. At the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast January Yearling Sale Randwick Bloodstock highlighted and recommended her to Star Thoroughbreds who purchased her for $185,000.

2019

  • 2019 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale Consignment – our largest to date with 22 fillies and mares on offer. We finished the sale with a 91% clearance rate and gross sales of $1,947,500. Highlights were the sales of Stakes Placed mares TEST THE WORLD (by TESTA ROSSA) for $270,000 to Arthur Hoyeau (As Agent) and CYMBALISM (by DENMAN) for $220,000 to Woodside Park Stud / Suman Hedge Bloodstock.

 

  • Randwick Bloodstock teams up with Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds for the 2019 Australasian Yearling Sales. During the sales series Star/RBA purchased a total of 28 yearlings by proven stallions such as DUNDEEL, I AM INVINCIBLE (4), NICCONI (2), PIERRO, SEBRING, SO YOU THINK, TEOFILO, WRITTEN TYCOON and ZOUSTAR (2), as well as first season stallions HEADWATER, JABALI, KERMADEC (2), PRESS STATEMENT, PRIDE OF DUBAI and RICH ENUFF.

2018

  • MERYL – Winner of the 2018 MVRC Group 3 Scarborough Stakes (1200m). Now a Group 3 winner as a 2yo & 3yo (Won the Group 3 BRC B J McLachlan Stakes as a 2yo). Congratulations to Lee Curtis Racing on a great training performance and Francis & Christine Cook. She was purchased by Randwick Bloodstock Agency / Mystery Downs for $150,000 from the Riversdale Farm draft at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.

 

  • FOXPLAY – retired from racing in September, having won 5 races and $1,429,510 during her illustrious career. Her major wins included the ATC Queen of the Turf Stakes (Group 1), ATC Phar Lap Stakes (Group 2), ATC Tea Rose Stakes (Group 2) and NSW Tatt’s RC Furious Stakes (Group 2). Randwick Bloodstock was involved in her selection for Star Thoroughbreds at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast January Yearling Sale where she was purchased for $160,000.

 

  • DREAM IN COLOUR – Congratulations to long term clients Bell View Park Stud on the amazing sale of the their FRANKEL mare DREAM IN COLOUR (In foal to EXCEED AND EXCEL) for $750,000 at the 2018 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. She was purchased by Howson & Houldsworth Bloodstock / Randwick Bloodstock Agency for 75,000gns at the 2017 Tattersalls February Sale.

 

  • 2018 GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS Magic Millions Consignment –  Thank you to all those who supported our 2018 consignment in achieving a 100% clearance rate, a gross of $2,080,000 & an average sale price of $231,000. The headline act was the brilliant Group 2 winner FRENCH EMOTION (by SNITZEL) who sold for $850,000 to Widden Stud. Congratulations to her breeders Valda Klaric & Ivan Cajkusic. Glenesk Thoroughbreds also consigned a special draft of 3 well performed race fillies on behalf of Star Thoroughbreds. The trio were headed by LUIZA (By I AM INVINCIBLE) who sold for $260,000 to James Harron Bloodstock. PIONEERING (By SEBRING) ($160,000) is heading to Yarraman Park Stud & GRETNA (By SNITZEL) ($120,000) to Woodside Park Stud. Grant Morgan’s OnTrack Thoroughbreds has also been a loyal supporter and this year’s offering was the speedy INVINCIBLE HEART (By I AM INVINCIBLE) who sold for $160,000 to Gall Bloodstock. Our consignment was not limited to maiden mares with the imposing GONE TO PARIS (By DUPORTH) selling for $230,000 on Day 2 to Sheamus Mills Bloodstock on behalf of friends Rushton Park Thoroughbreds.

 

  • SNITZEL’S GODDESS – Purchased off the track through the RBA website for less than $70,000, SNITZEL’S GODDESS (By SNITZEL) sold in foal to AMERICAN PHAROAH ($60,000 service fee) for $340,000 at the 2018 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

 

  • SEABROOK – The 2018 Group 1 ATC Champagne Stakes (1600m) winner SEABROOK (By HINCHINBROOK) was purchased when in-utero from the Randwick Bloodstock Agency website by astute breeder Warwick Jeffries. He gained an immediate return on his investment when SEABROOK sold for $85,000 to Blueblood Thoroughbreds at the 2017 Inglis Premier Yearling sale. Her next foal by PROISIR sold for $100,000 NZD at the 2018 Karaka yearling sales. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Warwick and MIDNIGHT REVELS.

 

  • EL DORADO DREAMING – Winner of the 2018 Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).  Congratulations to her owner / breeder Yvette Pearce on the victory. Her dam SOLANOS (in foal to STRATUM) was purchased by Yvette through the RBA website for $32,500 in 2013.

 

  • THE ENZO – Congratulations to clients Lustre Lodge as breeders of THE ENZO (By STRATUM) – Winner of the lucrative $250,000 Inglis 2yo Classic (1200m) at Warwick Farm on Saturday 10th February. His dam DANICA (By SEBRING) was purchased by Lustre Lodge through Randwick Bloodstock Agency carrying THE ENZO – her first foal.

 

  • VOLPE VELOCE – At the 2015 Magic Millions National Broodmare sale, Randwick Bloodstock Agency purchased BARDEGO for $46,000 in foal to FOXWEDGE  for clients Rushton Park Thoroughbreds. Since this time, her daughter VOLPE VELOCE (By FOXWEDGE) won her first 7 starts for Graham Richardson in NZ and on New Years’ Day landed the Group 1 Sistema Railway Stakes (1200m). At the 2017 Inglis Premier Melbourne Sale, her then in-utero foal (now a strapping FOXWEDGE yearling filly) would sell for $300,000 to the bid of Sheamus Mills.

2017

  • MERYL – Congratulations to Francis & Christine Cook and Lee & Cherie Curtis on the impressive win of the RBA / Mystery Downs purchased 2yo MERYL (By EPAULETTE) in the $200,000 Group 3 Magic Millions Bruce McLachlan Stakes (1200m) at Doomben. Racing for a lady’s syndicate headed by Christine Cook, MERYL hit the line strongly. She was purchased for $150,000 from the Riversdale Farm draft at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.

 

  • CYBER INTERVENTION – Impressive win on debut by RBA 2yo purchase CYBER INTERVENTION (By SO YOU THINK) in the Guardian Partners Maiden Handicap (1200m) at Wyong on December 13th for Francis & Christine Cook of Mystery Downs Stud. Closing impressively for Joe Pride, he was awarded ‘Maiden of the Week’ status by the ANZ news publication and is a horse full of promise to look forward to in the New Year.

 

  • QUILATE – Winner of the $150,000 Group 3 Ladies’ Day Vase (1600m) at Caulfield on Ocotber 18th for owner / breeder Kristen Manning. Congratulations to Kristen who purchased her dam MISS PELIGROSA (By DANGEROUS) through Randwick Bloodstock for just $2,000 in 2010. We are delighted for Kristen and look forward to following her success.

 

  • SAINT VALOREM – Randwick Bloodstock Agency experienced a big thrill at Caulfield on July 29th as the Australian Thoroughbred Farm bred and owned SAINT VALOREM (By AD VALOREM) flew home late to post an impressive victory. Joe Panzera, Eddie and Carlo Deluise are long time clients and friends of Randwick Bloodstock Agency and this success is much deserved having shown incredible resilience to remain in the industry.   • GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS 2017 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale – The 2017 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale kicked off with a bang for Glenesk Thoroughbreds (As agent) with a 100% Day 1 clearance rate and the leading average price for all vendors ($455,625). Highlights of the day include the sale of stakes winner SHAKESPAEREAN LASS to Aquis Farm for $360,000 and the sale of Group 1 winner MISS COVER GIRL to Dermot Farrington Bloodstock for $500,000. Top Billing for the day and the consignment go to blue blooded race filly INSPIRED ESTELLE who sold for $925,000 to the bid of the China Horse Club. Overall, Glenesk Thoroughbreds (As agent) sold 12 horses for an aggregate of $2,647,500 and average price of $220,675 – This is the highest average price for any vendor with more than 10 lots sold.

 

  • DERRYN – Winner of the ATC Arrowfield 3yo Sprint (Group 2) and the ATC Darby Munro Stakes (Listed Race) in 2017. His dam MUNHRO (by LONHRO) purchased by Randwick Bloodstock for $385,000 on behalf of Bylong Park Thoroughbreds at the 2013 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale with DERRYN in utero. MUNHRO is now the dam of 3 winners from 3 to race.

 

  • CAVALOCE – Congratulations to long term clients Bell View Park Stud on new purchase CAVALOCE winning the Listed SAJC Durbridge Stakes (1200m) on October 15th and Listed City Of Marion Stakes (1200m) on December 10th. She then ran second in the Group 2 VRC Standish Handicap (1200m) at only her 4th start for Bell View Park Stud. She was purchased privately prior through Randwick Bloodstock / Pinhook Bloodstock.

 

  • FRENCH EMOTIONWinner of the Group 2 Blazer Stakes at Flemington on October 2nd. Her dam LOVE AND EMOTION was sold by RBA to Denis Roberts Bloodstock on behalf of the Klaric family who bred FRENCH EMOTION.

 

  • LEOTIE – Displayed a thrilling turn of foot for an  impressive win at Caulfield on August 28th for Henry Dwyer. Also, a flying home second in the Group 3 MRC Quezette Stakes (1100m). Purchased by Randwick Bloodstock / Rockmount for $80,000 at the 2015 Inglis Easter Sale.

 

  • RUMBA QUEEN – Debuts a Brisbane winner for Tony Gollan & Ricky Surace.  Bred by Col Williams RUMBA QUEEN (By I AM INVINCIBLE) was born and raised at Glenesk Thoroughbreds. She sold for $280,000 at the 2015 Magic Millions yearling sale. Her dam FINE CUBAN was purchased through RBA for $10,000 by client Col Williams and bred to I AM INVINCIBLE on a $7,700 stud fee on RBA’s mating advice.

  • KEBEDE – Winner of the Group 2 The Roses (2000m) in May 2016 for Matthew Dunn. RBA assisted in sourcing her Group 1 winning dam DESERT FIGHT (By HUSSONET) from Chile. Also dam of exciting young Arrowfield stallion PANZER DIVISION (By REDOUTE’S CHOICE)
  • TRAFALGAR – Impressive winner at Warwick Farm on April 13th 2016 for Chris Waller and Star Thoroughbreds. Bred by Randwick Bloodstock Agency and sold by Yarraman Park on our behalf at the 2014 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale.
  • AL’S MAGIC MISS – Her second foal , a colt by HINCHINBROOK, sold for $1,000,000 at the 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale. She was purchased off the track by Yarraman Park through Randwick Bloodstock Agency.
  • VOSTOK – winner of his first three starts (including two Melbourne wins) and ran 4th in the Group 3 Manfred Stakes for Peter Moody. Now in the care of Henry Dwyer  VOSTOK returned a Moonee Valley winner on September 3rd. Purchased by Randwick Bloodstock/Rockmount for $70,000 at the 2014 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

2011 to 2015

  • VILLA VERDE  – Sold by Glenesk Thoroughbreds (as agent) for $1.1 million to James Bester Bloodstock/Deep Field Syndicate at the 2015 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
  • GLENESK THOROUGHBREDS – debut consignors at the 2015 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. At the sale’s completion our draft averaged $299,643 – the second highest at the sale (6 or more horses sold).
  • GOLDFINGER – Sold by Randwick Bloodstock Agency with a SMART MISSILE colt at foot. The colt became the highest priced lot at the 2015 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, selling for $220,000 to trainer Tony McEvoy.
  • MELODY – purchased by Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $210,000 in 2008 for Patinack Farm. In foal to CASINO PRINCE at the time, the subsequent foal is now named PHRASES and was a winner of the 2015 Listed ATC Randwick City Stakes.
  • DESERT FIGHT – initially purchased by Brent & Judy Hudson (Lustre Lodge) from the USA as a Maiden mare through RBA, she was subsequently sold through RBA in August 2014 to Arrowfield Stud. In September 2014, DESERT FIGHT’S third foal the 3yo colt PANZER DIVISION (by REDOUTE’S CHOICE) won the Group 3 ATC Ming Dynasty Quality at Randwick. PANZER DIVISION retires to stand at Arrowfield Stud in 2016.
  • MIA CAT DANCER – purchased by Senga Bissett & Ivan Woodford-Smith (Ashleigh Thoroughreds) through RBA, shortly after arriving into Australia from the USA. In September 2014, MIA CAT DANCER’S first foal, 4yo gelding WOULDNT IT BE NICE (by CHOISIR), won the Group 3 ATC Concorde Stakes at Randwick.
  • VICTORY ROMANCE – purchased by RBA for $35,000 at the 2013 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. In July 2014, VICTORY ROMANCE’S first foal, 2yo filly STARLESS NIGHT (by GRAND SLAM), won the Listed $150,000 Shady Well Stakes by 2.5 lengths at Woodbine, at her second start.
  • PONTE PICCOLO – purchased by RBA at the 2013 Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale for $35,000 (in foal to MANHATTAN RAIN) for NSW breeder Chris Lawlor (International Animal Health). PONTE PICCOLO’S 2009 foal ABLE FRIEND (by SHAMARDAL) has subsequently gone onto to be one of the all time great racehorses in Hong Kong. With earnings to date in excess of A$9 million and a multiple Group 1 winner, ABLE FRIEND headed the 2015 World Thoroughbred Rankings (Sprint), was ranked equal Leading Older Male on the 2015 World Thoroughbred Rankings (Mile) and was Horse of the Year & Champion Miler in Hong Kong in 2014-15.
  • PRINCESA – in 2003 sold privately by RBA through fellow agent Adrian Hancock, acting on behalf of David Moodie & Nick Psaltis. PRINCESA’S fifth foal is SOLICIT (by STREET CRY), a winner of five Group races during the period 2014 to 2016, and earnings of nearly $1.2 million. SOLICIT was PRINCESA’S second Group winning produce, her third foal being STAR OF GISELLE (by RESET), a multiple Group winner of over $650,000. Both SOLICIT and STAR OF GISELLE were retained to race by David and Nick.
  • RUBIMILL – sold through RBA to clients of Russell Warwick (Westbury Stud) in 2009 with the aim to breed her to FASTNET ROCK that season. The resulting foal was EL ROCA, who as a 3 year old was victorious in the Listed ATC Eskimo Prince Stakes at Rosehill and the Listed Westbury Stud Challenge Stakes at Ruakaka, NZ. He was also a close up second in the Group 1 ATC Royal Randwick Guineas at Randwick, Group 3 ATC Liverpool City Cup at Warwick Farm and the Group 3 MRC Caulfield Guineas Prelude at Caulfield.
  • OOMPH – RBA purchased this mare at auction in 2008 for $260,000 for Patinack Farm. The second foal Patinack bred from her is THUMP (2010 filly by RED RANSOM). As a 3 year old THUMP collected wins in the Group 2 ATC Surround Stakes at Warwick Farm, the Group 2 ATC Silver Shadow Stakes at Warwick Farm and the Group 3 MVRC Champagne Stakes at Moonee Valley.
  • RHIANNA LOUISE – in 2007 purchased by RBA at auction for $100,000 for NSW breeder Ross Warnock. Subsequently produced multiple Group 3 & Listed Race winner PEPPERWOOD. In August 2013 PEPPERWOOD won his 11th race, and took his earnings to over $1,000,000 with victory in the $82,000 Coffs Harbour Cup.
  • MAHA CHAKRI  – in 2008 purchased as a broodmare prospect at auction by RBA for Patinack Farm for $130,000. Her second foal WHITTINGTON (sold for $145,000 as a yearling) won the Listed ATC Breeders’ Pate at Randwick in 2012.
  • OAK PARK – in late 2010 as an unraced 2yo she was sold privately by RBA to Queensland owner Michael Collins (after twice being passed in at auction in NZ). Left in NZ to race this daughter of MORE THAN READY won the Listed Rotorua Stakes in 2012.
  • DAWNIE DANCER – in 2007 purchased at auction by RBA for NSW breeder Alan Bray. Subsequently produced 2012 NZ Listed Race winner OAK PARK (by MORE THAN READY).
  • CHINESE WHISPERS – in 2008 purchased at auction by RBA for Patinack Farm for $200,000. The foal she was carrying was subsequently named ROCK ROBSTER, a winner of the Listed Tasmanian Oaks at Launceston in 2012.
  • GLOBAL DANCE – in 2008 purchased at auction by RBA for Patinack Farm for $200,000. Subsequently produced 2012 & 2013 Listed Race winner SEE THE WORLD ($574,000 earnings). At the time of purchase GLOBAL DANCE was carrying to GENERAL NEDIYM. Patinack Farm retained this foal to race. Named BOYS ON TOUR, he won 6 races and over $270,000, and was Group 2 placed in Sydney and Group 3 placed in Brisbane, and 4th in the Group 1 ATC Champagne Stakes at Randwick,
  • KOOROORA BLUE – in 2008 purchased at auction by RBA for Patinack Farm for $30,000. The foal she was carrying was subsequently named RON’S CALL, and went on to win 7 races including the Listed WATC Fairetha Quality Stakes at Ascot (Perth WA), and retire with earnings of just under $300,000.
  • WHO’S BLUSHING – in 1999 sold through RBA to Jacaranda Thoroughbreds for $2,500. In May 2011 her 2006 foal named MULTIGLORY won the Group 2 HKJC Sprint Cup to take his earnings to in excess of A$700,000.
  • BLUE LADY – in 1999 sold through RBA to Roberts Bloodstock (purchased for their client Terry Lillis) for $15,000 as a broodmare prospect. In March & May 2011 her third foal named HUMMA (by IGLESIA) won the Listed Toowoomba Cup and the Group 3 BRC Chairman’s Hcp respectively.

2005 to 2010

  • BE MY PRINCESS – in 2008 purchased at auction by RBA for $100,000 for the Australian Thoroughbred Farm. In 2009 her 3yo filly FLYING PRINCESS (by FLYING SPUR) won at Listed Race level in South Africa.
  • CHANGE OF CONTROL – in 2003 sold privately by RBA to Jonel Park Thoroughbreds, Queensland for $25,000. Her first foal was 2008-09 Macau Horse of the Year GOOD CONTROL (12 wins, A$657,000).
  • ESTER KELLY – in 1998 sold privately by RBA to Arrowfield Stud off the track. She subsequently produced dual 2006 Listed Race winner HASTA LA CIAO CIAO.
  • FOIL – in 2007 purchased privately by RBA for clients. Subsequently produced 2008 Sydney Group 2 winner BELONG TO MANY.
  • IMCO RESOURCE – in 2008 sold privately by RBA to Victorian breeder Neil Semple for $20,000. Her 2007 colt named THAT’S NOT IT won the 2010 MVRC Red Anchor Stakes – Group 3.
  • LOADED LADY – in 2002 sold privately by RBA to Queensland breeders Paul & Lyn Maguire for $32,000. The foal she was carrying at the time was sold for $50,000 as yearling. Subsequently named LOADED COMMAND she was a 2008 Listed Race winner in New Zealand.
  • MIDNIGHT BALLET – in 2008 sold privately by RBA to Patinack Farm. MIDNIGHT BALLET’S 2006 foal, ROCK CLASSIC, went on to win the 2010 VRC Australian Guineas – Group 1.
  • NANCY ELEANOR – in 2004 sold privately by RBA to Carl Holt, CJN Bloodstock, Sydney. NANCY ELEANOR’S second foal is PHELAN READY, winner of the 2009 STC Golden Slipper Stakes – Group 1 and the 2009 GTC Magic Millions 2yo Classic.
  • PAZZIHI – in December 1999 sold privately by RBA to Graeme Little and Emma Boling for $120,000 (carrying to KELTRICE, with a KELTRICE filly at foot). The KELTRICE filly was resold by Graeme and Emma for $140,000 as a yearling. They sold her 2000 KELTRICE colt for $125,000 as a yearling, which was to subsequently race in Hong Kong as BILLET EXPRESS. In March 2006 BILLET EXPRESS won the Group 1 HKJC Chairman’s Sprint Prize. He retired with earnings of over A$1.2 million.
  • SAPPHIRE FLASH– in 2008 purchased by RBA at auction for Patinack Farm for $40,000. Subsequently produced 2008 SAJC Dermody Stakes (Listed Race) winner MORGAN DOLLAR.
  • SOVERINA – in 1999 sold privately by RBA to Peter Taylor (Mulbring Creek Farm) and Richard Pegum. The third foal bred from this mare by Peter and Richard was 2009 Listed Race winner MR CLANGTASTIC.
  • THE SKY MOVED – in 2006 sold privately by RBA to Queensland breeder Greg Rosbrook. THE SKY MOVED’S first foal, COLOURLAND SUPREME went on to win 8 races and over RM$1 million, including the Group 1 Piala Emas Sultan Selangor (2000m). He was named Malaysia’s Champion Older Middle Distance horse in 2009.

Pre 2005

  • BELUS – in 1999 purchased by RBA out of the paddock as a yearling for $10,000. Subsequent dual Group 3 winner of over $450,000.
  • BLAYNEY BREEZE – in 2001 sold privately by RBA to Queensland breeder Mick Atkins for $11,000. The foal she was carrying at the time, was subsequently sold for $35,000 as a yearling and raced as RECAPITALIZE, a 3 time Melbourne stakes winner of over $540,000.
  • BLUEBIRD THE WORD – in 1995 purchased by RBA out of the paddock as a weanling and sold for NZ$100,000 as a yearling. He went on to win the 2000 Group 1 Waikato International Stakes, 2000 Group 2 Waikato Gold Cup and was placed in the Group 1 New Zealand Derby, Group 1 WRC Thorndon Mile, Group 1 Queensland Derby, Group 1 Waikato International Stakes.
  • CENTALONG – in 1992 assisted in the purchase of this horse as a lightly raced 2 year old. Sent to Hong Kong and named SUPER FIT there, he won the 1994 Hong Kong Derby – HK Group 1.
  • DANINKLING – in 1999 sold privately by RBA to clients of Adelaide trainer Mark Minervini for $35,000. Already a Melbourne winner, she was to go on and win another $100,000+ for her new owners and place in Group 2 SAJC Swettenham Stud Stakes. At the completion of her racing career, she was sold for close to $200,000.
  • DARK KSAR – in 1991 sold privately as a lightly raced 2yo maiden by RBA to Hong Kong clients, William, Raymond and Phillip Tai for $27,500. DARK KSAR went on to win 13 races including the Group 1 STC Ranvet Stakes and over $1 million in prizemoney for the Tai Brothers.
  • DIRECTE ATTAQUE – in 1998 sold privately by RBA as a maiden mare to Stone Lodge Farm. She subsequently produced Group 2 winner of over $440,000 OUR SWEET MOSS.
  • FAT CHANCE – in 2001 purchased at auction by RBA for $25,000 as a yearling. Subsequently sold to HK interests where he earned nearly HK$2 million.
  • FIRETAINE – in 1998 purchased at auction by RBA for $5,000. Subsequent Adelaide Group 3 winner of over $200,000.
  • FOREST MINT – in 1993 assisted in the purchase of this mare for Lex Tall at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Imported into Australia, her first Australian bred foal was South Australian Derby (Group 1) winner BLUE MURDER.
  • GABBING GLORIA – in 1993 assisted in the purchase of this mare for Victorian breeder Alan Richards at Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Imported into Australia where her first Australian bred foal was VATC Caulfield Cup (Group 1) and STC Rosehill Guineas (Group 1) winner DIATRIBE.
  • GOOD NEWS – in 1993 purchased off the track by RBA for $10,000. Subsequently produced 2000 Group 1 VRC Derby winner HIT THE ROOF.
  • HAYDEN CLAN – in 1999 sold privately by RBA to John Crowley. Her then 4yo, NEVER BLUE, a winner of 1 race at the time, was to go on and win another 10 races including the 2001 WATC CB Cox Stakes (Group 2).
  • HIGH SPIRITS – in 1998 purchased at auction by RBA as a yearling for NZ$35,000. Won over HK$3 million.
  • METAL STORM – in 1995 purchased out of training in France by RBA  for Gray & Jan Williamson. Standing at their Mungrup Stud in Western Australia, METAL STORM went on to become WA’s Champion Sire, prior to his premature death.
  • MONET’S COVE – in 1995 purchased out of the paddock by RBA as a yearling for $33,000. Subsequent Sydney Group 2 winner of over $400,000.
  • MY FIRST STAR – in 1999 sold privately by RBA to Graeme Little and Emma Boling, just prior to her 3yo filly ISCA winning the Group 1 VRC Lightning S and the Group 1 VRC Newmarket H.
  • NOBLE SPIRITS – in 1992 purchased privately by RBA for NZ$45,000 as a tried horse for Singapore owner Bob Goh. Subsequently raced as NOBLE SPIRITS where he won the 1994 Singapore Derby (Group 1) plus another 5 races, and was named Singapore/Malaysian Horse of the Year in 1994.
  • PHEROZ FANTASY – in 1998 sold privately by RBA to Gavin Murphy and Catherine Donovan, carrying to LAST TYCOON. Her then 2yo ZABEEL colt, named SUPER IMPRESSIVE was to go on and become a multiple Group winner of almost $800,000, plus the LAST TYCOON foal she produced in 1998, raced as UNROCEL SAINT, a Listed Race winner in Adelaide.
  • PRINCESA – in 1998 purchased by RBA for Andrew Pennefather for a then Australian record weanling auction price of $400,000. PRINCESA won at Listed Race level on two occasions for Andrew.
  • PURLING – in 2000 sold privately by RBA for $3,000. Dam of 2002 AJC Flight S – Group 1 winner ROYAL PURLER.
  • ROAD TO SKYE – in 1995 purchased privately by RBA for $30,000 as a maiden mare for West Australian breeder James Miorada. Subsequently produced WA stakeswinner of over $160,000 TANTRA DANCER.
  • ROYAL ACCORD – in 1999 purchased by RBA at auction for Gavin Murphy and Catherine Donovan. Subsequently produced South African stakes winner MERMAID’S FLANNEL.
  • SO LIKE LAE – in 1997 sold privately by RBA for $14,000 to DM Sharpe Equine. Her then 2yo ZABEEL filly named LAEBEEL, was to go on and win at Listed Race level in Melbourne and place a close second in the 1999 Group 1 Caulfield Cup.
  • SOUL SEARCHING – in 1998 purchased by RBA at auction for $40,000 carrying to DEHERE. Within 12 months, her daughter PERMAI won at Listed Race level in Adelaide. The DEHERE she was carrying was subsequently sold for $130,000 as a yearling and the mare sold for $90,000 in foal to KING OF KINGS in 1999.
  • SOUTHERN SPRINTER – in 2001 purchased by RBA at auction for $16,000, carrying to COMMANDS. Within 12 months, her 2yo FRAGMENTATION won at Listed Race level in Melbourne. FRAGMENTATION at stud has produced Group 1 winner WANTED.
  • STATION MISTRESS – in 1994 stakes winning mare sold privately by RBA to Jim and James Ryan for $13,000 at the completion of her race career. Subsequently produced multiple stakes winner PLAY STATION, a winner of 9 races over $450,000 for the Ryans.
  • STRAUSSBROOK – in 1992 Group 1 winner sold privately by RBA to Mapperley Stud as a stallion prospect at the end of his racing career. Leading First Crop Sire in NZ in 1995/96.
  • SUMMERETO – in 1999 sold privately by RBA to Milennium Thoroughbreds for $18,500. Her next foal, by CATBIRD, was to sell for $145,000 as a yearling and raced as ROADAGAIN, a stakes winner of nearly $300,000.
  • TESSUTI – in 1988 purchased privately by RBA as a foal in NZ to pinhook. Later resold at auction as a yearling for double it’s weanling price, and went on to win at Group 3 level in Melbourne as a 2yo.
  • THEY SAY – in 1997 sold privately by RBA as a maiden mare out of the USA to Graeme Little and Emma Boling. THEY SAY’S 2nd foal was the 2002/03 Champion Australian 2yo HASNA (AJC Sires Produce S – Group 1, AJC Champagne S – Group 1). At the 2010 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale, THEY SAY’S REDOUTE’S CHOICE colt sold for $925,000.
  • TIDAL – in 1996 purchased at auction by RBA for Alan Bray for $50,000 (in foal to RORY’S JESTER – resultant foal sold for $42,500). Subsquently produced a $90,000 yearling and Listed Race winner PORTSMOUTH (by ROYAL ACADEMY).
  • TULIP TIME – in 1992 purchased at auction by RBA  for NZ$4,250 (in foal to WESTERN SYMPHONY). Subsquently produced Listed Race winner DON’T CONA CON.
  • UNROCEL SAINT – in 2000 sold privately by RBA as a yearling for $70,000 to clients of Kevin Dagg Bloodstock. She went on to win at Listed Race level in Adelaide and was sold at auction for $425,000 in 2006, carrying her first foal, by ELUSIVE QUALITY.
  • VILLA RONDINI – in 1996 sold off the track by RBA for $9,500. Subsequently produced Group 2 winner HONALEE, 6 wins and over $400,000.
  • WESTERN CHORUS – in 2002 purchased by RBA after son JEUNE KING PRAWN had won at Group 3 level in HK. He was to later win at Group 1 level, plus the mare’s then filly foal by FLYING SPUR was to race as CREATIVE PLAN and win twice at Listed Race level in Melbourne.
  • WHAT FUN – in 2001 NSW breeders Wayne & Pauline Alchin, purchased the mare WHAT FUN for $40,000 off the track through RBA. Her second foal by DEHERE they sold for $180,000 as a yearling. Her third foal was 2-year-old Listed Race winner CAT D’ANTIBES, a $140,000 yearling by TALE OF THE CAT. Her fourth foal by DANZERO was sold for $70,000 as a yearling. The Alchin’s subsequently sold WHAT FUN (in foal to SNITZEL) for $220,000 in 2008.
  • YEATSINA – in 1991 purchased by RBA at auction for $30,000 as a foundation mare for Queensland breeder Peter Dunbar. At the time, she had a BELLOTTO filly at foot. The BELLOTTO filly was later named SETO FLOWERIAN and won at Group 3 level in Sydney and was AJC Oaks (Group 1) placed. YEATSINA subsequently also produced Australian stakes winners PRESINA and THE GOLDEN DANE. Over the next 12 years, Peter was to gross over $1 million in sales of horses descended from YEATSINA.
