Centrestone and James Orman reunited on Friday last week to make it back to back wins at Ipswich. The daughter of Hinchinbrook jumped well from the barriers and James elected to settle her midfield on the fence for the 1,710 metres distance. The mare travelled nicely through the early and middle stages behind a steady speed up front and James began asking Centrestone to improve approaching the turn for home. He angled the mare out and once she straightened, she let down strongly to pick the leaders up quickly. She hit the front 200 metres from the post and stuck on bravely to win in good style.

Consistent winners over November and December was a great note on which to end 2022. We would like to thank the entire Chris Waller Racing team and all other suppliers who ensure our horses turn up in peak competition on race day. We look forward to another exciting year on the track in 2023. The Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale kicks off next week so keep an eye on our socials to see what we secure to be the next equine athletes to wear our purple and white stars.
